Imagine creating search experiences where users can ask:

- “Show me guides to fix my bike brakes using tools I already have.”
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to craft powerful search features using MongoDB Atlas Search and Atlas Vector Search. The session will dive into key concepts and tools, including advanced full-text search operators like fuzzy matching, autocomplete, and phrase searches. You’ll explore the fundamentals of vector search, leveraging embeddings for similarity-based interactions, and discover best practices for index design and optimization to ensure fast and relevant results. Finally, you’ll learn how to combine full-text and semantic search features to build applications that deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.
The event will let in the first 50 people who arrive. No shows have stopped people attending the last few meetups. And these did not end up full anyway. I think it is fairer that we keep the signups open and risk turning some people away.
