Data API and HTTPS Endpoints are Deprecated?

Joel,

thanks for the update. However, if we’d wanted to use 3rd party tools we would have been doing so, and then would not have been impacted by this decision.

What we have here is a fundamental breach of trust. How can we continue using Atlas when we don’t know which feature is next on the chopping block?

Hi @Joel_Lord Moving forward, could I suggest Mongo provide some sample apps for each deprecated API? eg. For the JS API there was a TodoList that demoed authentication, reading, writing and subscriptions. Similar apps with said partners would be invaluable given the tight deadlines. Speaking of which, many, including ourselves, won’t have the resources, financially or otherwise, to migrate within such a short time period. Could we urge you to consider a LTS option extending this window to at least 2 years?

Shame !!!
I’ve selected MongoDB years ago because of HTTPS Endpoints and Functions. It was hard to convince my client to migrate to MongoDB and now you come with this stupid deprecation note !!!
I will spend this year up to september 2025 trying to find a solution to migrate completely and forget MongoDB

MONGODB IS NOT A TRUSTABLE COMPANY
