I have to say that it’s a tad easier on MongoDB Atlas. 
It takes like 4 clicks…
I have no idea how you can fix this to be honest. Start over? Does the cluster works in 5.0 ? I don’t manage or install MongoDB with packages (only tar balls) and I’m on Debian. I only manage my prod envs on Atlas so I’m kinda useless at this point I’m afraid.
