I’m not sure we have all the information here. Perhaps you could supply:

  • The logs from the mongod instance in question so we can see what’s going on from the server side
  • Have MongoDB sucessfully running before? If yes, what changed?
  • How did you install MongoDB, and what version is this?
  • What is your hardware and OS spec?
