Your CPU does not meet the requirements to run 5.0+

These versions require the AVX feature set Production Notes - Platform Support

Broadly your options are:

• Use MongoDB 4.4
• Compile from source
• Upgrade your host platform

According to the Production notes, mongod and the legacy mongo shell require Sandy Bridge or later microarchitectures. I tried to execute mongo and mongod with an Intel G4560. This processor belongs to the Kaby Lake Intel CPU generation, that is later than Sandy Bridge, so it should work. I am trying to install and start a MongoDB on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 20 (it’s literally the first thing I did after sshing onto the server).
