When used with
db.collection.find()
operations against a sharded collection, returns partial results, rather than an error, if one or more queried shards are unavailable.
Syntax
The cursor.allowPartialResults()
method has the following
syntax:
db.collection.find(<query>, <projection>).allowPartialResults()
