Update from Deployments with Managed and Unmanaged Agents

You have a project with automated MongoDB deployments that may include both Automation-managed and standalone Backup and Monitoring Agents. You want to update to the MongoDB Agent.

To update to the MongoDB Agent, use the following procedures:

登录 Cloud Manager。

在通知横幅中，单击 Update All Agents（更新所有代理）。

Update to MongoDB Agent页面打开，可开始更新进程。 显示Introducing the MongoDB Agent步骤。 读完此步骤后，单击Next 。

将自动化主机更新为 MongoDB Agent。

如果您的项目具有使用自动化的主机，您可以将这些主机上的代理更新为 MongoDB Agent。

  1. 单击 Update All（连接）。

  2. 等到所有主机都显示Updated 。

  3. 单击 Next（连接）。

更新后，旧版助手中的所有身份验证 SCRAM、 LDAP和 Kerberos 档案都将保留。 所有.pem密钥文件也会保留。

旧版自动化代理档案将成为用于自动化的MongoDB Agent 。 这些凭证不需要修改。 但是，如果需要修改它们：

  1. 在MongoDB Cloud Manager中， Go项目的 Deployment 页面。

    1. 如果尚未显示，请从导航栏的 Organizations 菜单中选择包含所需项目的组织。

    2. 如果尚未显示，请从导航栏的Projects菜单中选择所需的项目。

    3. 如果 Deployment（数据库部署）页面尚未出现，请单击侧边栏中的 Deployment（数据库）。

      显示“部署”页面。

  2. Go到Security页面。

    1. 单击部署的Security标签页。

  3. 编辑设置。

    1. 单击 Settings（连接）。

    2. 单击 Edit Settings（连接）。

完成 MongoDB 助手的安装。

在Final Steps模式下，旧版备份和监控代理将进入备用模式。 单击Finish 。

后续步骤

MongoDB Agent 更新完成后：

  • If you did not update Backup or Monitoring Agents when you installed the MongoDB Agent, you can activate 备份, 监控, or both on your MongoDB deployment.

  • 停止并删除旧版监控代理。

  • 停止并删除旧版备份代理。
