Any setup instruction for ubuntu18?

I donwloaded the file “mongodb-enterprise-server_4.2.6_amd64.deb”
but your instruction (mac os) doesn’t help me.
plz help me how to install on ubuntu18

The setup instructions are very similar for Mac and ubuntu system.

Please let me know what steps have you completed so far.

thanks for your response. actually i was on ubuntu20 and whole error i got was related to version.
finally i found your site instruction for installing on ubuntu and it helped me on ubuntu18.
but on my other system with ubuntu20 i installed it throw it’s own repo with comand:
“sudo apt install mongo” -> it installed v3.6.8 on ubuntu20
