Cache-writes doubled after upgrading to v5, checkpoints 50% larger, suspected to cause overloads

Thanks for sharing your solution.
I had the same issue after upgrading from v4.4 to v5 and reducing the minSnapshotHistoryWindowInSeconds to 5sec solved the CPU usage peak.
