I have an Atlas App that I am using app services for Google with. Recently, google suddenly disabled the ability for my app to authenticate. Saying I needed to verify the mongodb.com domain. I went back and forth with them over email but they say this:
You also need to verify that you own all the authorized domain listed in your request: * [mongodb.com]mongodb.com
Go to the IAM page to add a role owner to your project. Roles give project members the permissions they need to verify domain ownership.
- Add either a Project Owner or a Project Editor to your project.
- Go to the Search Console to complete the domain verification process.
Please Note: Third party domain not owned by you, or domains that are hosted by a third party site, or redirects to third party sites are not permitted.
So what’s the deal here? Seems like they are saying they don’t allow the Atlas App authentication setup… has anyone run into this issue before?
