We had a mongo DB upgrade request from 4.2.4 to higher version.
May I know which one is the official recommended version among v5, v6 and v7?
What’s the key difference between them?
It will be appreciated if there is any official notification could be shared.
I recommend MongoDB 8.0 as the target version. New features and increases in performance make this a desirable version.
MongoDB 5.0 is end of life.
MongoDB 6.0 is end of life July 31 2025.
MongoDB 7.0 is current and perfectly fine.
