Hey there, I just logged in and now I don’t see the “App Services” tab just these two:
As of today, all App Services were moved into the Data Services tab to create a more unified experience.

Wow. Easy endpoints and users are why I use Atlas.
I just need an easy NoSQL DB + endpoints + id provider. Atlas doesn’t do this any more?
Any alternatives out there? I don’t really want to go back to Firebase.
You shocked me when you said they were gone, I just logged in, and copied all my code.
This is the most ****** response I’ve read. How is it more “unified” if it is not even clear how to get to the apps anymore and need more clicks. The distinction between data services and app services made perfect sense. After the deprecation announcement it really feels like you want to hide app services as they may as well be deprecated soon.
Unified?
You mean you made the UI worse by removing a link that was in a region that is now without any content. You don’t even used the now free space - you just removed a functionality from the system to achieve nothing in return. This is a 100% anti User Experience decision. Please revert this change.
My heart was starting to beat hard and fast when I saw the tab was gone, and it was just after I read the email about the deprecating services too. I can only imagine how people with heart conditions would feel if they were caught unaware like this.
So looks like some of the services I use are deprecated now, excuse me, I’ll go jump off a cliff
Convex looks like a potential alternative to atlas and realm.
How do I see my functions and endpoints that were in “App Services”/Realm!? I need to access those still?
I didnt find it yet. Where exactly is it placed?
All your apps are still available, namely
- At the Project URL (
https://services.cloud.mongodb.com/groups/<Project ID>/apps
). - Individually below each Cluster panel for the app that has that Cluster as Data Source (or Multiple Apps)
- On the Triggers (
https://cloud.mongodb.com/v2/<Project ID>#/triggers
) or Device and Edge Sync (https://cloud.mongodb.com/v2/<Project ID>#/deviceSync
) screens from the sidebar, pressing the View All Apps button on the top right.
We gonna ge a link for it in the interface any soon?
Of the three points illustrated above, the last two are indeed UI components (for a total of 3 links), visible in the interface, albeit less prominently than before.
Got it. Thx for the advice!
May I suggest adding a Link inside the header to them? Maybe next to “Data Services”, since that row got much free space left. Would be much more convinient than hiding them somewhere in other pages.
Not a good change. Even with this “Answer” response I can’t find it. It’s not intuitive. Makes no sense
I am closing this thread, but invite you go to this topic if you have further questions on the EOL and deprecation of App Services.
